Application-specific systems
With decades of experience in capacitive sensor technology, Micro-Epsilon has developed a portfolio of specialized systems for different applications and fields of use. These solutions are optimally adapted to the respective requirements so that the advantages of the capacitive measuring principle can be fully utilized. The advantage: tried-and-tested standard systems for maximum benefit and precise measurement results.
Models
combiSENSOR KSS & combiSENSOR KSB
The system combines the advantages of eddy current and capacitive sensor technology in a single housing. This innovative technology enables the micrometer-precise measurement of material thicknesses, e.g. of battery coatings and plastic films. Target thicknesses as low as 5 µm can be detected. In addition, their robust design ensures that the sensors work reliably even in harsh industrial environments with high temperatures.
capaNCDT DTV
The system consists of a DT6220 controller, a specially developed 4-track sensor and proprietary evaluation software for non-contact detection of the disc thickness variation. In order to achieve maximum efficiency of the braking system, the disc must have an even thickness. Unevenness, runout or abrasion on the friction surface of the disc cause the brake pads to lose contact with the rotating disc. Thickness measurements can be carried out in test benches, in road tests or in car repair shops.
capaNCDT MD6-22
The two-channel hand-held measuring device is used for the mobile and precise measurement of gap dimensions. This measuring device impresses with high accuracy, intuitive operation and long battery life. Due to preset measurement modes, the handheld gauge is immediately ready for use. Compatible with all capacitive sensors from Micro-Epsilon, the MD6-22 is used in different measurement tasks, e.g. for rotor gap monitoring in wind turbines and alignment of rollers in plant and machinery.
capaNCDT TFG6220
The system measures the thickness of electrically conductive films, e.g. battery films, with maximum precision. A vacuum device sucks in the object to be measured, smooths it and thus ensures optimum, wrinkle-free support. In this way, the measurement can be performed with the greatest possible precision. The system is used in quality control for offline sample inspections. The TFG6220 comes pre-assembled and is ready for immediate use.
