Press releases of Micro-Epsilon

On 1st January 2013, Bernd Hendrych was appointed as new CEO for Micro-Epsilon Eltrotec. In this role, he will continue the work of his predecessor Claus Hofmann, who left the company on the 31 December 2012.

Press release

Micro-Epsilon has launched a wide range of Ether-/EtherCAT applicable measurement technology at this year’s automation exhibition “SPS/IPC/Drives 2012”. Amongst other new products were eddy current, capacitive and confocal measurement systems, laser profile scanners and laser triangulation sensors, inline color measurement systems and universal controllers for up to 6 sensors.

Press release

Micro-Epsilon presents the new capaNCDT 6220 controller for capacitive sensors, developed for non-contact displacement, distance and position measurement, which can be enlarged by a maximum of 4 measurement channels. The additional channels can be added or removed by the user without any loss of performance or operation of the software.

Press release

Micro-Epsilon presents a new series of confocal chromatic sensors, the confocalDT IFS2405. The new sensors have a higher sensitivity and so offer significant advantages with regard to measurements carried out on dark targets. In order to ensure flexible use, the new sensors offer offset distances of up to 100mm. In addition, the tilt angle has been significantly enlarged.

Press release

With the colorCONTROL MFA 1 series, Micro-Epsilon Eltrotec has launched a cost effective sensor for inspecting the operation and intensity of single LEDs.

Press release

Embedded Coil Technology (ECT) allows the limitations normally caused by the material and design to be exceeded. This fact makes the sensors unique. Technology for the production of coils in sintered glass ceramic has only been applied to customised applications. However, standard ECT eddy current sensors are now available.

Press release

Micro-Epsilon has developed a new highly dynamic laser sensor for displacement measurements of shiny metal, coarse, and textured surfaces. In contrast to point-type laser models, the measuring point is extended to form a line which helps prevent interferences during measuring.

Press release

Micro-Epsilon Messtechnik presents thicknessCONTROL MTS 8202.LLT (CFC), a highly robust thickness measurement system with a C-frame construction for the metalworking sector.

Press release

In automotive development, car chassis tests are the basis for safe driving. These checks require sensors that stand up to the challenges of road testing. Fast movements, short distances, limited space and harsh environmental conditions – these are the conditions for which Micro-Epsilon developed the wireSENSOR MP(M) draw-wire sensors.

Press release

Measurement technology expert Micro-Epsilon provides intelligent solutions for medical applications, from medical devices to dental research and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Press release

INB Vision AG, a company of the Micro-Epsilon Group, provides the surfaceCONTROL measuring system specifically for recognition of defects on diffuse reflecting surfaces. This system uses structured light projection to help detect and analyze local shape defects, such as indentations or raised areas on surfaces, which may only deviate by micrometres from their target measurements.

Press release

Micro-Epsilon has launched a new LVDT sensor, the induSENSOR DTA-XG8, which is ideally suited to high volume serial production. The entire sensor housing is new and has a diameter of 8mm.
