Color measurement on plastic profiles

Immediately after the extrusion of plastic profiles, the color is monitored directly with the colorSENSOR CFO200. Depending on the production order, the reference colors are taught into the sensor in advance and customer-specific tolerances are defined. Thanks to the large color memory, the sensor is able to reliably check the color of opaque, (partially) transparent and completely colored profiles. This ensures that the color of the plastic profiles is within the defined tolerance window. The high measuring rate of the color sensor also allows it to be integrated into dynamic extrusion processes.
