Eddy current-based inductive sensors of the eddyNCDT series provide non-contact detection of displacement, distance, position and oscillation. They enable highly precise measurements on ferromagnetic as well as non-ferromagnetic materials. The eddyNCDT sensors prove resistant to dirt, pressure and temperature in challenging industrial environments while also delivering a very high resolution. Due to their industry-optimized miniature design and their high measurement accuracy, these sensors are used to monitor lubrication gaps, thermal expansion, shaft movements and to ensure smooth running of machine parts and drive components, among other applications.
Robust sensor design
The sensors are optimized for industrial applications. They are insensitive to temperature fluctuations, dust, dirt and oil and can withstand pressures of up to 2,000 bar. Their protection class reaches up to IP67. Thanks to their miniature design, it is also easy to integrate the sensors in narrow spaces.
High performance
The high-performance inductive eddyNCDT 3060/3070 measuring systems were designed for high speed measurements with highest precision. Factory-calibrated for both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials, and in combination with intelligent signal processing, they are the ideal solution for industrial displacement measurements. Furthermore, extended functions such as 5-point calibration, switching and temperature outputs as well as storage of multiple characteristic curves are available.
