Thermal imaging cameras for industrial temperature monitoring
TIM thermal imaging cameras are designed for non-contact measurement of surface temperatures from -20 °C to 900 °C. They enable efficient monitoring and control of temperature-critical processes both at low temperatures, e.g. in cooling chains, and at high temperatures. Their high thermal sensitivity makes these infrared cameras ideally suitable for precise and dynamic tasks. Different performance classes enable a suitable model to be selected for every application. The camera is connected via a USB interface, which also supplies the power.

The thermoIMAGER TIM QVGA infrared camera offers a high resolution of 382 x 288 pixels. It provides pin-sharp images and is therefore ideal for very small objects which can hardly be detected using common cameras. The maximum thermal sensitivity of 75 mK enables detecting the finest temperature differences reliably. However, the camera remains very small and flexible in its application covering a large temperature range of -20 °C up to 900 °C.
- Measuring ranges: -20 to 100°C / 0 to 250°C / (20) 150 to 900°C
- Optical resolution 382x288 pixels
- Spectral range 8 to 14 µm
- Excellent thermal sensitivity (NETD) of 75 mK
- Image acquisition in real time at 80 Hz
- Power supply and operation via USB
- Smallest camera in its class (46 x 56 x 68-77 mm)
- IP67 RATED
- Digital communication via RS232 or DLL for own software connections

The thermoIMAGER TIM VGA infrared camera is the smallest VGA-resolution thermal imaging camera in the world, providing thermal images in real time due to its optical resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. With dimensions of 46x56x76-100 mm and weighing just 269 - 340g (incl. optics), the thermoIMAGER TIM VGA is one of the most compact thermal imaging cameras on the market. The scope of supply includes the extensive TIM Connect analysis software.

TIM NetPCQ is a professional, embedded industrial PC solution with passive cooling (fanless) for thermoIMAGER applications and is suitable for top hat rail mounting. The NetPCQ and TIM cameras can be operated in combination as stand-alone system. Remote maintenance via Ethernet is possible. Data provided by the TIM camera can be stored directly on the NetPCQ where customer-specific software can also be installed. A recovery-stick is included in the scope of delivery.
- Supports all thermoIMAGER TIM models
- up to 80 Hz (TIM QVGA), up to 32 Hz (TIM VGA) frame rate
- TIMConnect software included
- Monitor via VGA (analog)
- Integrated watchdog function
- Optional: up to 20 m USB cable, high-temperature USB cable, extendable via a 100 m Ethernet cable

Easy process integration
Advanced interface concepts enable the integration of the infrared cameras into networks and automated systems:
- USB cable extension up to 100 m via Ethernet or up to 10 km via glass fiber
- Process interface (PIF) as analog input/output (0/4-20 mA) and digital output (potential-free relay output)
- Software interface via Dynamic-Link-Library (SDK) and COM port
License-free software
The TIM Connect real-time software is an extremely powerful thermography software that is delivered with each infrared camera. This software enables parameter set-up of the camera and automatic process and quality control. Individual alarm thresholds can be set depending on the respective process. The free software included is compatible with Windows 7 and 10.
