Instead of a red laser line, the Blue Laser diode generates a blue-violet laser beam with a wavelength of 405nm. The sharper focus enables a sharper projection of the laser beam and therefore increased accuracy. In numerous measurement tasks, the technology patented by Micro-Epsilon offers decisive advantages compared to red-diode laser sensors.
Read moreThe new optoNCDT 2300-2DR uses blue laser light and is specially designed for displacement and distance measurements on directly reflecting surfaces. On reflective and shiny surfaces, the sensor operates at high speed and provides maximum precision in the nanometer range. Furthermore, the optoNCDT 2300-2DR laser sensor has a unique feature as it is the only laser sensor in its class for directly reflecting surfaces where the entire electronics are integrated in a compact housing.

Read moreAn even larger field of applications is now opened up for the optoNCDT 2300 high performance laser sensor. The new C-Box/2A interface converter now enables fast D/A conversion of two optoNCDT 2300 laser sensor signals. Furthermore, individual measurement values can be calculated synchronously in order to directly output parameters such as thickness, diameter or tilt angle.
Read moreIn glass bottle production based on the press and blow method, the weight of the glass drop is a crucial factor in ensuring a smooth production process. Harsh ambient conditions, particularly strong vibrations, present a huge challenge for the measurement technology involved. Therefore, Micro-Epsilon has developed a special EDS long-stroke sensor in cooperation with the German IS machine builder GPS.
