The new capaNCDT 6112 displacement measurement system offers a unique performance package in capacitive displacement measurement. The controllers are designed for dynamic measurement tasks up to 20kHz (-3dB). The single-channel system is easy to use and combines a compact design with high performance, as well as a favorable price/performance ratio. Due to a miniaturized controller, the system is ideally suited to integration in machines and facilities. As well as for thickness, coordinate and oscillation measurements, the new capaNCDT system is also used for brake test stands. Other applications can be found in R&D, semiconductor production, automation, medical engineering and machine building.
The sensors measure on a non-contact, wear-free basis against all electrically conductive materials, and on insulators when fitted with appropriate electronic circuitry. The sensors are used for displacement, position and thickness measurement and provide extremely high resolution and signal stability.
The capaNCDT 6112 lends itself well to a wide range of applications and is compatible with all capaNCDT sensors. With a possible power supply of between 9V and 36V, the system can also be used in passenger cars and trucks. Another special feature is its adaptability to individual, customer-specific measurement tasks. Here, various modifications can be carried out, e.g. optimized resolution by reduced measuring ranges, modified cable lengths and designs.
