01/24/2012: Draw-wire sensor with a plastic line
The use of draw-wire sensors is popular because of their simple design and rapid operational readiness. What are new are sensors that use a plastic line to record the distance to the measuring target. Thanks to the robust plastic line, a number of significant benefits are achieved in numerous applications, especially in the electrical industry and medical technology.

01/24/2012: IR images in razor sharp quality
For many processes, infrared cameras enable temperature visualization and monitoring. Until now, details were barely visible, especially for small geometries or larger targets. Many cameras use an insufficient resolution of 160x120 pixels. The new thermoIMAGER TIM 400 and 450 infrared cameras deliver crystal clear pictures that let you see even the smallest detail.

01/24/2012: Integrating laser scanners - easier than ever before
scanCONTROL laser scanners are used when the profile points of a line or 3D images of surfaces are required. The profiles recorded then need to be further processed using a software application. Linking laser scanners and application software - by using device drivers or plug-ins - is now easier than ever before.

01/24/2012: Fluffy and thick
Mineral wool that is used to insulate buildings needs to have a specific thickness to ensure that it provides the expected thermal properties. However, the wool is produced to a higher thickness first and is then milled to the specific thickness required. In order not to mill off too much, the thickness data is captured continuously and the recorded values are used to control the milling machine.

12/20/2011: Multi-purpose, high precision optoCONTROL ODC micrometer
The optoCONTROL ODC product family offers multi-purpose application options. The system is integrated directly in the production process for the monitoring of components, for process control or quality assurance. Four different models enable the optoCONTROL ODC to be applied universally.
