Micro-Epsilon provides very flexible solutions in the area of eddy current sensors. This flexibility ranges from cost-effective sensor systems with highly integrated electronics, to innovative sensors with silver/palladium coils embedded in glass/ceramic. With this new coil technology, the sensors achieve levels of temperature stability, service life and harsh operating conditions that were not possible before. Therefore, these sensors are ideally suited to applications with high pressure, high temperature, aggressive media and high vacuums. The sensors can be adapted in terms of their form, size and design. Separate electronics are not absolutely necessary, since all electronic components can be incorporated in the multiple-layer ceramic substrate. Therefore, solutions with detached or integrated electronics are possible. Sensors in the glass/ceramic substrate are intended for applications such as aerospace, aviation, semiconductors, power station construction or for industrial applications with high stress loads. The sensors can also be used in clean rooms or in an ultra-high vacuum. Micro-Epsilon is therefore able to provide cost-effective eddy current sensor solutions for specific customer applications in high volumes and with short lead times.
