The turboSPEED DZ140 turbocharger rotation speed measurement system is based on a concept that is coordinated from start to finish. It is thermally stable up to 285°C and resists external influences such as dirt or oil. A significantly higher immunity to interference clearly distinguishes the system from other eddy current rotation speed measurement systems.
Due to its compact housing, the system is ideally equipped for on-vehicle road tests. Furthermore, it is optimized for thin blades made from aluminum or titanium. Speeds of 200rpm up to 400,000rpm can be measured accurately with the sensor. The user can choose from different performances and assembly threads. The smallest sensor has a diameter of 3 mm.
A flexible design also enables the sensor to be easily replaced without further adjustments and the system is downward-compatible with all previous sensor models. A control LED indicates when the sensor has reached the ideal distance from the turbocharger blades, which enables greatly reduced installation times.
