The eddyNCDT product group has been designed for the non-contact measurement of displacement, distance and position in often dirty, dusty, humid and oily industrial environments, faced with extreme temperature fluctuations and restricted installation space. The eddy current principle is suitable for the measurement of electrically conductive materials that may have ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic characteristics. Micro-Epsilon provides different sensors for a variety of applications: from the universal, compact and low cost sensor for automation and machine building tasks (eddyNCDT 3001), to extremely robust, easy-to-use models for test bench applications (eddyNCDT 3100), as well as ECT eddy current sensors for the harshest of operating environments and customer-specific versions.
The recently updated website provides users not only with characteristics of the different series, but also with video clips that explain the measuring principle, some application examples and publications on the issue of the eddy current principle.
