Video pyrometers measure temperatures up to 2,200 °C
The CTVideo/CSVideo infrared thermometers are used for temperature measurement of metals in the temperature range from 50 °C to 2,200 °C. The combination of crosshair laser sighting and video signal enable the measurement object to be portrayed as an image, which allows measurements in hard-to-access areas such as targets that are no longer visible.
With a temperature resolution of 0.1 K, the spectral range is, depending on the model, is from 1 to 2.3µm. The sensor is extremely compact with a diameter of 50mm and a length of 100mm. There are analog outputs for current or voltage, an alarm output and a USB 2.0 interface.
The scope of supply includes the CompactConnect application software that enables the automatic recording of video snapshots (time- or temperature-dependent), graphical display and the recording of measurement values, as well as set up and configuration of the infrared thermometer.
The CTVideo/CSVideo infrared thermometers with video sighting are ideal for applications in Research & Development, steel processing and for process analysis.
