scanCONTROL Configuration Tools 2.0

The scanCONTROL Configuration Tools enable scanCONTROL sensors to be configured very quickly and easily using a Windows PC. All the sensor settings can be made using the software. In addition, profiles can be displayed, loaded, saved and exported.

If the software is used in conjunction with scanCONTROL SMART sensors, the full functionality can be made use of. In this way, complex measurement tasks, such as gap measurement or measurement of flushness with simultaneous data evaluation, can be configured directly on the sensor controller. With the BASIC or HIGHSPEED models, and also with saved profiles, the software simulates the evaluation. While switching values are calculated, they may not be output as such by the sensor. Parameter sets can also be generated and tested offline.

Version 2.0 includes the following significant changes:

• Up to four measuring programs can be run simultaneously
• Support for Windows 7, 32Bit
• Support for Windows 7, 64Bit (only for scanCONTROL sensors with an Ethernet interface)
• Improved user interface design
• Support for up to 4 analog and 8 digital outputs
• A new view for configuring the output ports
• Support for the scanCONTROL Output Unit with Ethernet interface
