IR sensors for high volume production

Due to its very robust housing, the new CX thermoMETER series is intended for demanding, mechanical engineering applications. Sensor signals are provided using a single twin-wire cable, which also powers the sensor, whereby a signal-dependent current flows at the same time. Wiring complexity is therefore significantly reduced. Individual sensor settings can be carried out using the special CompactConnect software. The CX is suitable for a temperature range of -30°C up to +900°C and is available with an extremely high resolution of 0.025°C.
The thermoMETER CS series and CS micro models are the miniature sensors of the range. For the CS, the electronics are located in the sensor housing and in the cable for the CS micro. Therefore, these sensors are ideally suited to non-contact temperature measurement with restricted installation space. Both models are used for temperature measurements between -20°C and +350°C. The values obtained are extremely precise due to the sensor’s robust, silicon-coated optics. Multiple analog outputs, USB and alarm outputs make the sensor very flexible.
