Laser profile sensor with integrated profile calculation

The laser scanner product group has been expanded by the scanCONTROL 2710 series. This series has an extremely compact case with integrated controller. The scanCONTROL 2710 sensor provides a complete solution for simple measurement tasks. Angles, steps and positions can be recognized and tracked. The same is also possible for profiles like adhesive beading, weld seams, grooves and gaps. After the sensor has been configured using the supplied setup software, the system runs in standalone mode and can be directly connected to a controller. Using the integrated controller, the sensor performs the data acquisition, profile calculation and measured value generation for the complete measurement field and at full resolution with 100 Hz. The scanCONTROL 2710 is ideally suited for robot use and is available with the 25 mm and 100 mm measuring ranges. Triggering and synchronization of several sensors are also possible.
