Optical Micrometers to measure diameter, gap, edge or opacity [+][–]

Laser scanner and micrometers are included in the dimensional measurement technology. Typical measured values for these measurement units are profile, diameter, position, edge which are often required for quality assurance and process control. If laser scanner or measuring objects are removed, 3D models of the object can be generated.
 

Infrared sensors for non contact temperature measurement [+][–]

Sensors belonging to the product family thermoMETER measure the temperature between -50°C and 1800°C via infrared radiation. The non-contacting sensors operate with the absorbed infrared radiation of objects. IR sensors are specially designed for many applications such as metallurgical applications, applications in the plastics sector or combustion processes. They are used for the punctual temperature measurement or for thermography.

ASCOspeed is used for speed and length measurement in the metalworking industry. In metallurgical applications the non-contact speed measurement is a decisive factor for process stability. Contacting or slipping units are therefore replaced successfully.
