Laser scanner and micrometers are included in the dimensional measurement technology. Typical measured values for these measurement units are profile, diameter, position, edge which are often required for quality assurance and process control. If laser scanner or measuring objects are removed, 3D models of the object can be generated.

Sensors belonging to the product family thermoMETER measure the temperature between -50°C and 2200°C via infrared radiation. The non-contacting sensors operate with the absorbed infrared radiation of objects. IR sensors are specially designed for many applications such as metallurgical applications, applications in the plastics sector or combustion processes.
