Master / slave

Example: Synchronisation of Eddy current displacement measurement systems. If a number of Eddy current measurement channels are operated with a close distance between the Sensors, then a mutual influence due to slightly different oscillator frequencies is possible. This can be prevented by Synchronisation of the oscillators. To do this, the controllers are connected together with a Synchronisation cable. On connection the oscillator of Controller 2 (slave) switches automatically to Synchronisation mode and operates in dependence of Controller 1 (master).
