Glossary: Hysteresis

Hysteresis is the term used for the deviation of a Sensor in its output voltage at the desired position when the center of the Measurement range represents the desired position and the Sensor is moved from the start of the Measurement range (U1) and the end of the Measurement range (U2) to the desired position. Sensor hysteresis = U1 - U2
