Glossary

High pressure resistant

Sensors which reliably measure at pressures of typically 50*10^6 Pa are designated as "high pressure resistant". These are usually inductive Sensors which are integrated into hydraulic cylinders. Also Eddy current Sensors in the engine sector must often be high pressure resistant.
